The successful candidate will work directly with clients and other BCI team members as part of the both the Professional Services and Network Administration teams.

  • Can you scope, plan, configure, implement, support and optimize systems in diverse environments?
  • Responsible for all the buzz words: Firewalls. Switches. APs. Routers. Virtual and Cloud. Network Monitoring. RMMMS 365. G-Suite. Azure. Back up. Servers. Workstations. Mobile. Security.
  • You will be working directly with clients to implement projects and resolve issues; onsite and remotely.
  • Follow up and documentation are keys to keeping all projects on track so, you need to be awesome at both.

Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum 3-year technology diploma in network engineering, network security, or related field from a recognized post-secondary institution; with 3-5 years hands-on Industry experience; it's preferred
  • Technically competent and understand all things networked; wired or wireless, virtual or on prem, PC or Apple, Laptops or Desktops
  • Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues with a cool head and sometimes under pressure
  • Communicate effectively with clients either face to face, over the phone or in writing; with an attention to grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Familiar with ticketing systems, time entry & IT documentation
  • Able to work independently without direct supervision
  • Possess the ability to provide exceptional onsite and over-the-phone customer service
  • Flexible to adapt to changing client needs and schedules in dynamic working environments
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle so you can travel independently within SWO
  • Hours of work mainly from Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. But like any position in IT, some evening and weekend work is required
